With three AERO AL 50 Max air/water heat pumps and a TERRA SW 35 Max H booster heat pump, we efficiently supply a 104-room hotel with heating and hot water.
For a hotel with 104 rooms in the district of Mödling, we have implemented a customized and energy-efficient heat pump solution that meets the highest standards of comfort and sustainability.
The building is supplied by three powerful AERO AL 50 Max air/water heat pumps installed on the roof. These provide the basic heating supply and make a decisive contribution to energy-efficient operation.
A TERRA SW 35 Max H heat pump is also used to provide the higher temperatures required for hot water preparation. This “booster” heat pump heats the domestic hot water to the required high temperatures in a second stage.
The hot water is heated via a fresh water cascade consisting of four fresh water modules and achieving a peak flow rate of 70 l/min per module. This ensures that sufficient hot water is available for the hotel guests at all times – even at high occupancy rates.
In addition, four TERMO 2000 Max high-temperature storage tanks are used to store energy for hot water preparation and guarantee an optimum supply.
With this modern and efficient heat pump solution, we were not only able to significantly reduce the hotel’s energy consumption, but also contribute to a more environmentally friendly operation. Thanks to our intelligent control technology, the Navigator 2.0, the entire system is optimally monitored and controlled to ensure maximum efficiency and comfort.
