TERRA SL Heat Pump |

Our sunniest side
TERRA SL solar heat pump for
heating and hot water |

|
The solar system for everyone.
There's something in the air:
The Terra-SL brine/air heat pump system transfers the heat from air & sun to a brine circuit that feeds a heat pump. This means that you can heat, cool and generate hot water the whole year round using air and/or the sun. The solar heat pump uses the sun and air together. Whereas traditional solar systems only supply the heating actively at higher collector temperatures, with the IDM solar heat pump, the solar energy is also made usable at lower collector temperatures. Air heat pumps need to be regularly defrosted using a considerable amount of energy. The Terra-SL uses the free energy source of the sun for this purpose too, making the system even more ef ficient! |

Heating, cooling and hot water.
Heating, cooling and generating hot water. The Terra-SL solar heat pump provides the entire heat energy in the home. Especially when everything is required at the same time: Hot water for the shower, heating power for a swimming pool and cooling for the living room. The IDM HGL technology generates heat for the water quickly and in a cost-saving way, whereas the system cools and heats simultaneously – this is unique!

Top quality and environmentally friendly.
The benefits to you:
•
Heating with natural energy from the sun and the air
•
Heats and cools simultaneously as required
•
No fuel storage, no specially
equipped heating room required
•
HGL technology for hygienic fresh water heating
with service on demand
•
Flexible fitting of the very quiet, smooth running fan – up to
20 m away from the house
•
Simple installation of the air/brine heat exchanger
(no refrigeration engineer required)
•
Free defrosting with solar usage
•
No risk of frost (heat pump assembly in a protected
location in the heating room; external unit and cables
are filled with anti-freeze)
•
Ideal for heating swimming pools
1
The power of the sun:
IDM BE solar collectors offer an efficiency level of 85.8%. A
top performance on the market. The large area, reflective
glass and high quality materials ensure optimum utilisation
of solar power.
2
Terra-SL solar/air module:
A large heat exchanger transfers the energy from the air to the
heat pump. Quiet and environmentally friendly all year round.
It also uses the power of the sun in this process.
3
1x electricity = 4x warmth:
The IDM Terra heat pump is powerful and energy-saving. Just
1 kW of electricity can generate 4.5 kW of cosy warmth in the
whole house – one unit of electricity generates more than four
times the heat energy.
4
Hot water on demand:
HYGIENIK fresh water technology provides fresh hot water
in a matter of seconds – without any intermediate storage at
all, and only the actual amount of water required is delivered.
Bad news for micro-organisms such as legionella and other
bacteria. |
