Terra ML Heat Pump

During winter, you need more energy for heating than in spring, autumn or summer. The modulating air source heat pump IDM Terra ML is considering this fact and adapts the heating capacity accordingly. You profite thereby:

 

• higher Seasonal performance factor (SPF) which means less energy consumption,
• higher comfort due to NAVIGATOR control,
• higher heating output at low outide temperatures,
• higher durability thanks to softer starting process,
• up to 20% less energy cost than with regular heat pumps.

The modulationg air source heat pump adapts to the heating output required. And when summer becomes very hot, it can even cool the rooms by using your floor- or wall heating system. It works from -18 to +35°C. At lower temperatures, an electric immerser helps heating your house.

Most air source heat pumps work with hot water boilers including all health risks that come with them - up to legionella. Terra ML goes another way: It uses a buffer tank only for high temperature storage and heats fresh water through a large scale plate heat exhanger. Your hot water is always fresh, bacteria and legionella are kept away.

 

All IDM Terra Heat Pumps are controlled by the NAVIGATOR®. And you decide individually, when and where which temperature will be. The NAVIGATOR® can control up to seven heating circles for seven different timetables and different temperatures. And the NAVIGATOR® is prepared for nearly everything: Internet-connection, cell-phone-control, BUS-system integration and the like.
