GEOTHERMAL HEAT PUMPS WITH HIGH OUTPUT FOR INDIVIDUAL SOLUTIONS

The TERRA SW Twin geothermal heat pump is equipped with two compressors. This means it is perfectly equipped for objects with an output of between 20-45 kW. It adapts its output to the current consumption. In this process, the heat pump is particularly efficient: an energy coefficient (COP) of 4.96 at full load, i.e. with both compressors, and even 5.17 at partial load, with only one compressor. The TERRA SW Twin therefore complies with all funding criteria and has been awarded the EHPA quality label.

HGL technology in larger objects

The TERRA SW Twin series is even more functional with the optionally available hot water supply system on the basis of iDM HGL technology. In the process, the obtained hot gas is transferred to an additional heat exchanger to consequently heat the upper tank of the fresh water storage tank (Hygienik) to a temperature of 62°C. This combination allows the heat pump to provide low temperatures (e.g. 35 °C) for surface heating systems and simultaneously heat the upper tank to 62 °C to cover hot water demands. The result is a high level of hot water convenience coupled with a low use of energy. The service life of the compressor increases as the heat pump can produce high temperatures already at low speeds. This feature also helps to comply with the strict hygiene requirements to service water. If there is no boiler, large quantities of water are not stored over long periods of time, therefore preventing the formation of bacteria.
